"Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends." ~Czech Proverb~My great-uncle Faye is the third from left. His cousin, August "Swede" Miller, is 2nd from the right. The rest, I think, are friends. They're the kind of people who are friends for life, and when they're gone, their children keep up the old friendships. This is a group of some of the most fortunate people you'll ever see.
